We proudly present new game: "Mountains Of Fire", http://castle-engine.sourceforge.net/mountains_of_fire.php . The game was developed by Michalis during a weekend gamejam ( https://www.facebook.com/tsgcompo ), of course using our Castle Game Engine. The game features a split-screen view showing the 3D world from 2 different perspectives: a worm, and a human. They have to cooperate to reach a safe place. Playable by 1 or 2 players.
This is a little prerelease, a new version 1.1.0 is planned around this weekend (it will add a normal game restart --- actually implemented today, will be uploaded around weekend :)
In (related) news, some recent engine work:
* Build tool improvements: optional detection of project version (by running executable with "--version"), fixes for Windows, fixes for FPC 2.6.0. See https://sourceforge.net/p/castle-engine/wiki/Build%20tool/ . "Mountains Of Fire" was compiled and packaged using it.
* New property TCastleLabel.MaxWidth.
* Detection and workaround for broken gl_FrontFace with Mesa 10.x with OpenGL 3.x.
* Fixes for testing OpenGLES on desktop Linux.
